Apple stops Apple Pay Later loans in the U.S. Apple announced on Monday that it has stopped offering loans through its Apple Pay Later program, launched last year. Instead, starting later this year, users will access installment loans via third-party lenders like Affirm, and credit and debit cards from issuers such as Citigroup, when using Apple Pay.

Meta delays AI models launch in Europe amid privacy concerns. Meta has paused the launch of its AI models in Europe following a request from the Irish privacy regulator. This decision comes after advocacy group NOYB urged data protection authorities across several European countries to take action against Meta for its plan to use data from Facebook and Instagram users. The delay affects Meta's AI rollout in Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Ireland, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, and Spain.
