This new detector at the Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory aims to unlock cosmic mysteries by tracking particles that move undetected through nearly everything, from buildings to the Earth itself.

SpaceX to Test In-Space Refueling
SpaceX has some ambitious plans for early next year: testing in-space refueling between two orbiting Starships. This exciting milestone could be setting the stage for an uncrewed Starship to land on the moon. NASA has big hopes riding on Starship too, awarding SpaceX a $4.05 billion contract to bring humans back to the lunar surface through the Artemis program. With a crewed Starship landing expected in September 2026, this mission will be the first to return astronauts to the moon since the Apollo era.
