Reddit prepares for IPO with $6.4 billion valuation. Reddit announced plans for its initial public offering (IPO), aiming to raise $748 million and achieve a top valuation of $6.4 billion. Reddit would be the first US social media company to go public since Pinterest in 2019. The IPO will include offering 22 million shares, comprising 15.3 million Class A common shares and 6.7 million shares from insiders like CEO Steve Huffman and COO Jen Wong. The proposed price range for the shares is between $31 and $34 each.

Bitcoin surges past $72,000 milestone. Bitcoin made history by surpassing the $72,000 mark for the first time. The cryptocurrency extended its rally for the sixth consecutive day, marking a nearly 70% yearly gain. Substantial inflows into US exchange-traded funds fueled this surge, propelling Bitcoin's upward trajectory.
