Good morning. It’s Tuesday, March 25 — and on this day, New York’s most iconic fictional columnist was born. Yes, Sarah Jessica Parker, the woman who turned Cosmopolitans and emotionally unavailable men into a lifestyle, turns another fabulous year older today. Born right in the heart of Ohio, she somehow became the ultimate NYC icon.

Meanwhile, March is slowly packing its bags. Spring is peeking through the gloom, and your seasonal allergies are probably gearing up for their yearly comeback tour.

But hey — you made it to Tuesday. Here’s to a good week and an even better read.

Wall Street rallied Monday on whispers that Trump might pump the brakes on his sweeping tariff plans, giving the U.S. economy a shot at dodging a slowdown.

The Dow rocketed 597 points (1.4%), the S&P 500 climbed 1.7%, and the Nasdaq led the charge with a 2.3% jump. Tesla, after a brutal nine-week losing streak, shot up over 10%, while Meta and Nvidia each gained more than 3%.

Investors are still on edge about inflation and a possible recession, but optimism crept in as reports suggested the tariffs might be narrower and some sector-specific hits could be delayed. For now, Wall Street’s feeling a little less paranoid.

Wanna Sell Your House? Timing’s a Game.

According to Zillow, homes listed in late May sold for 1.6% more—about $5,600—compared to the rest of the year. But don’t get too excited: it really depends on where you live. In Austin and San Diego, March was hot. Phoenix? Try November. Realtor.com says the magic week nationwide is April 13–19. Mortgage rates are still hovering near 7%, which means buyers are either bracing themselves—or ghosting open houses altogether. So yeah, timing matters. But so does whether anyone can actually afford your place.

Boeing’s back in the game. Trump just handed Boeing a juicy fighter jet contract, passing over Lockheed Martin and naming the new aircraft the F-47 — because of course he did. Subtle nod to being the 47th president. The deal is part of the Air Force’s Next Gen Air Dominance program, which aims to replace the F-22 with something flashier and more drone-friendly. No price tag disclosed, obviously. Boeing’s stock jumped 5%. Lockheed’s sulked, dropping nearly 7%. Big win for Boeing.

UAE promises $1.4 trillion. Details TBD. The UAE has pledged $1.4 trillion in U.S. investments over the next decade, focusing on AI, semiconductors, energy, and manufacturing. The announcement followed a cozy meet-up with Trump at the White House. According to officials, this will "substantially increase" current UAE investments. According to reality, some of the deals were already announced before. Trillion-dollar headline, fine print still missing.

The 50 most innovative companies. Fast Company dropped its annual list of companies doing the most — 50 of them, across 58 industries. And some of them are actually changing the world. Waymo tops the list for unleashing robotaxis into the real world. Rocket Lab is flinging stuff into space with scary precision. HistoSonics is literally blasting tumors with sound waves. Then there’s Duolingo’s unhinged owl turning chaos into a business model. Liquid Death keeps selling overpriced water with metalhead energy. Kendrick Lamar’s agency pgLang is redefining what a “creative agency” even is. AI is, of course, everywhere. Some of it’s helping people. Some of it is… probably not.

Lunar Lander Sends a Sunset Selfie

Image: Firefly Aerospace

NASA's Blue Ghost lander wrapped up its two-week moon mission with a dramatic mic drop: the first-ever high-def shots of a lunar sunset. Then it shut down like a space robot with zero emotional attachment. The lander, built by Firefly Aerospace, spent 14 days delivering science gear and snapping photos before going dark. One lunar day, one final vibe.

Meta wants AI to flirt with your friends for you. Meta’s testing AI-generated Instagram comments, because apparently writing “🔥” is just too hard now. If you post a pic smiling on your couch, the AI might suggest “Cute living room setup” or “Love the cozy atmosphere.” Translation: soulless bot compliments incoming. This isn’t Meta’s first AI misfire. Remember those cringey AI characters with fake personalities? Yeah, they got deleted. Let’s see how long this one lasts.

Feeling off? Go stare at a painting. In Neuchâtel, Switzerland, doctors can now prescribe museum visits like they’re antibiotics. Stressed? Sad? Vaguely unwell? Here’s a free ticket to look at 18th-century landscapes and think about your life. Thanks to a new pilot program, the local government is footing the bill for “art therapy” museum prescriptions, based on a WHO report that says the arts can chill you out, ease trauma, and maybe even help you live longer. So now, instead of meds, you might get told to go vibe with some sculptures. It’s mental health, but make it aesthetic.

The Ordinary Is Selling Eggs Now

Image: The Ordinary

Skincare brand The Ordinary just pivoted from serums to scrambled. In a stunt-y collab with chaos-loving art group MSCHF, they dropped cartons of eggs for $3.37 at their NYC stores. With the country knee-deep in an egg shortage, these two thought: why not fix breakfast instead of your face? Honestly, kind of iconic.

Star Wars bugs exist. Live with it. Richard Wilkinson, a Brighton illustrator with too much time and probably too many action figures, has created a series of Star Wars-themed insects. Think: a Darth Vader fly, a Yoda beetle, and other little sci-fi critters that look ready to invade your terrarium.
